What is he famous for? Well, his pieces of artwork mysteriously pop up in different public places. The walls of buildings on the streets have become canvases for his artistic expression.

Among the many pieces that he has produced, he has famous for the piece known as the Flying Balloon Girl. It is a piece of artwork painted on a wall on the West Bank in Israel. Its political undertones have been heavily discussed on the internet.

Secondly, we have @kingfisherdaisy_art, who is an artist based in Singapore. Many of her creations have been used as tattoo designs. She has displayed the ability to create different types of designs. From designs incorporating animals like cats to designs that include different types of flowers – she developed quite a talent for creating unique pieces. Indeed, with her artistic talent, it is no wonder why her pieces are in such demand.

You may recognise her drawings by their simple yet unique slant. The colour black is heavily used in her drawings. Occasionally, she also uses pops of colours to accentuate certain details of her drawings.

Like many of the other art influencers on this list, his widespread recognition is the result of his many years of hard work. In fact, he started out as a graffiti artist in New York many years ago. From billboards to bus stops and phone booths, he made his art readily accessible to millions of people.

If you are a fan of dark humour and enjoy cartoons, Joan Cornellà’s Instagram account is a must-see. His short yet relatable one-liners have gained traction amongst the global population – as clearly from his 3.2 million followers.

Apart from gaining fame on Instagram, he has also won several awards for his contribution to the artistic scene. One of the most notable awards would be the Josep Coll Prize, where he won the third edition of the award in 2009.

His cartoons may be characterised by their highly mystical, dreamlike quality. It certainly brings us back to our happy childhood days. It is no wonder why stationery stores like Popular Bookstore and NBC have reached out to him to feature some of his art on their stationery.

Lastly, we have @takashipom, who is also known as Takashi Murakami. He is a popular contemporary artist based in Japan.

From the cover of Kanye West’s album to the prints on Louis Vuitton bags, this artist has dabbled in all sorts of art.

Additionally, he was also the brain behind the term “superflat,” which the aesthetic characteristics of the Japanese artistic tradition and the nature of postwar Japanese culture and society.
