Kobe Raw – @CheeserLand

How is life like being an influencer? In this issue of “Kobe Raw”, we will be hearing from @CheeserLand. Also, she will be sharing some tips to those that aspire to be an influencer as well.

Q1) Can you share with us how you started your journey as an Influencer?

I kept a diary since I was 9, and in 2004, I moved my diary online, and it was called a “blog”. Yes. I was a blogger before I was anything else. I have been blogging ever since and 2019 would be my 15th year writing and sharing what I love with my readers. From only 1 reader (me!) to having hundreds of thousands of following from all over the world, it has been a really long journey. Even though social media took the world by storm, I still believe that what touches someone’s heart are old-fashioned, heart felt blog post that tells a story.

Q2) What 3 things does anyone starting in your industry need to know.

1. To read the book 【How to become a successful blogger (CheatOne™)】 by Cheesie. Just kidding. But yea, read it! Haha.
2. That you are writing for yourself, but you also have the power to influence many people who believe in what you write. So use this power wisely.
3. Don’t over filter your travel photos. We don’t know what is real anymore.

Q3) What advice would you give your younger self when you were first starting out?

To built trust with my readers by sharing only products that I truly love and information that are useful for them, because your followers make your career happen, and they are a precious bunch you should be giving back to so they can benefit as well. It’s a win-win situation.

Q4) What is one thing you feel could be improved when working with brands?

Lots of communication and mutual respect. I always love exploring new ideas and make sure that key messages that clients would want to convey are the main focus while retaining my personal style to make a post appealing.
