About the Role

As KOBE enters its next decade of growth, we are scaling from a Southeast Asia pioneer to a global influence marketing powerhouse.

The Global Strategy Director plays a pivotal role in architecting this evolution — driving international expansion while steering Singapore’s marketing, sales, and account management performance to new heights.

This role blends strategic vision, commercial leadership, and hands-on operational excellence — ideal for a growth-minded leader who thrives in both boardroom strategy and market execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Growth & Strategy

  • Lead the design and execution of KOBE’s global expansion strategy across high-potential markets (e.g. China, Japan, Korea, SEA, Middle East). 
  • Conduct market opportunity assessments, define entry models, and set up local or partner-driven structures for scalability. 
  • Drive quarterly and annual strategic planning, setting revenue, margin, and partnership KPIs across global business lines. 

2. Singapore Leadership — Commercial & Client Success

  • Lead Singapore’s marketing, sales, and account management teams — ensuring synergy between brand growth, revenue generation, and client satisfaction. 
  • Translate global strategy into local execution plans that deliver measurable outcomes across pipeline, conversion, and client retention. 
  • Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team that embodies KOBE’s culture of creativity, agility, and accountability. 
  • Oversee go-to-market campaigns, sales enablement, and client portfolio management — ensuring Singapore remains a flagship market and innovation hub. 

3. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Identify and cultivate regional and global alliances with tech platforms, agencies, and key opinion networks. 
  • Lead co-marketing and co-innovation partnerships that strengthen KOBE’s positioning as the bridge between Asian creators and global brands. 
  • Build data-driven partnership scorecards and manage ROI across the ecosystem. 

4. Business Intelligence & Market Insights

  • Lead a cross-market insights team to monitor influencer, commerce, and digital trends across Asia and emerging regions. 
  • Translate data into actionable foresight, ensuring every major strategic move is supported by analytics and measurable outcomes. 
  • Regularly brief leadership on competitive movements, consumer shifts, and monetization opportunities. 

5. Cross-Functional Alignment & Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO and functional heads to align OKRs and ensure seamless collaboration between global strategy, operations, marketing, and sales. 
  • Champion strategic communication and alignment rituals — from global townhalls to leadership offsites — ensuring clarity and accountability. 
  • Build internal capability frameworks and training programs to uplift strategic thinking across teams. 

 

Who You Are

  • 10–15 years’ experience in strategy, commercial leadership, or business transformation within digital, media, or technology sectors. 
  • Proven success in leading both strategic and revenue-driven functions — ideally with regional or multi-market exposure. 
  • Deep understanding of influencer marketing, creator economy, and digital brand ecosystems. 
  • A connector and orchestrator — skilled in aligning diverse teams and translating strategy into measurable results. 
  • Excellent communicator with executive presence, able to represent KOBE globally and inspire internally. 

Success Metrics

  • Global strategy milestones delivered (expansion, partnerships, and revenue diversification). 
  • Sustained double-digit growth in Singapore’s commercial performance. 
  • Strong NPS, retention, and upsell metrics across key clients. 
  • Clear cross-functional alignment and operational efficiency across global and local teams. 
  • Growth of Singapore as the model market for KOBE’s global playbook.
